María Alejandra Castillo

María Alejandra is a lawyer specialized in Business and Economic Law, graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and registered with the Public Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires.

She furthered her academic training with a Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Property and International Trade organized by the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies in Industrial and Economic Law (CEIDIE) at the Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

She is an Industrial Property Agent registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI Argentina.

She obtained her International Certification as a Compliance Officer from the Argentine Association of Ethics and Compliance, UCEMA University, and IFCA – International Federation of Compliance Associations.

She has gained valuable practical experience in the protection of intangible assets through her professional practice at international trademark and patent law firms, with a strong focus on service excellence and on building and maintaining solid relationships with clients and high-performance teams.

She is a proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical professional, with a strong interest in the technological challenges arising in Industrial and Intellectual Property in today’s globalized world, such as IT Law, Data Governance, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence.
